Flore M. Gendron

Flore M. Gendron, 97, of North Troy died peacefully June 17, 2009, in Newport.
Mrs. Gendron was born November 24, 1911, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, a daughter of Ludger and Melina (Allaire) Boulanger.
On June 1, 1936, she married Napoleon Gendron, who predeceased her in 1965.
She was a member and past president of the Ladies of Ste. Anne of North Troy.  She liked large gatherings, especially the ones when she held her sugar-on-snow party for her extended family and more than 50 people would attend.  She always had a Tupperware bowl of treats on her kitchen shelf ready for her grandchildren or visitors.
She enjoyed having friends drop by anytime.  Yatzee was her favorite game, often played with her special friend Tillie.  Bingo was her second favorite game played with special friends Bev and Roy and Donald and Clara.
She was always helping with church projects, including cooking, ticket selling, and organizing committees.
Her family was her biggest joy, as she loved having them around.
She is survived by two children, Raymond Gendron and his wife, June, of Newport and Lucille Hamelin and her husband, David, of North Troy; by 11 grandchildren; by 25 great-grandchildren; by four great-great-grandchildren; and by many many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her great-grandson Joey Lemieux; and by 13 siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in North Troy with the Reverend Henry Mlinganisa celebrating a Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in North Troy.

Nicole A. Morey

Nicole A. Morey, 30, of Charleston died June 20, 2009, at her home.
Ms. Morey was born August 24, 1978, in Littleton, New Hampshire, a daughter of Bradley and Julian (Patten) Morey.
She enjoyed her family and spending time with the children; she personified the role of mother.
She enjoyed doing crafts and, in the fall, making Christmas wreaths to sell along with cutting brush for others.  She enjoyed spending time with her horses and dogs, gardening, and growing flowers.  She liked to sew and do artwork, a talent she passed on to her children.  She liked playing horseshoes and having family barbecues.
She is survived by her lifelong mate, Eric Bingham; by her children:  Rebecca, Monica, and Cody Bingham of Charleston; by her stepfather, Rock Ovitt, of East Charleston; by brothers:  Jeff Morey and his fiancée, Jessica Burnett, Rock Ovitt and his friend, Brittany Lavoie, and Ryan Ovitt, all of Charleston; by her sister Veronica Maxwell and her husband, Chris, of Island Pond; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She was predeceased by her mother, Julian; and by her brother Chris.
A graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in East Charleston on Thursday, June 25, at 2 p.m.
