She was born in Graniteville, Quebec, on September 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Trainer) Wilson who had emigrated to Canada from Dalbeattie, Scotland.
She was educated in Canada, and moved to Vermont where she married and raised her family and always remained proud of her Scottish heritage.  She worked for many years at Linton Industries in Derby Line, and later in life she and her husband spent a great deal of time in Florida.

A special thanks from the family to the kind and caring staff at The Converse Home.
At Mrs. Meyette’s wish, there will not be visiting hours.  A graveside service will be held in the spring at the family’s convenience.
