EAST CHARLESTON — “The big selling point of the trail is the view,” said Sam Perron, sustainable forestry coordinator at Northwoods Stewardship Center.
He was talking about the newly expanded Echo Lake Trail that opens on December 28 at Northwoods’ East Charleston campus. Mr. Perron helped map the expansion of the trail. “Most of our trails are tucked in the woods,” Mr. Perron said. “This trail goes through farm fields, hayfields, and has spectacular views of Echo Lake. It’s really incredible,” he said.
