WESTFIELD — Fire destroyed Tom and Cheryl Wright’s state-of-the-art sugarhouse in Troy early Sunday morning, right in the middle of prime sugaring weather.
Mr. Wright said he woke up about 2 a.m. and checked his monitors, which show him what’s going on with his tank lines. “I saw the vacuum was down to nothing in two of the pump houses,” Mr. Wright said. …
