NEWPORT — Charlee Royer, a sophomore at North Country Union High School, is a local Miss America Foundation title holder — Miss Maple Grove’s Teen. She lives in Newport and participates in the beauty pageant world and the philanthropy it supports in her free time.
Charlee met the Chronicle at the Goodrich Memorial Library in Newport eager to talk about three things: scholarships through the organization, her community service initiative, and things she loves about the organization.
Charlee initially got involved with the Miss America Foundation because of the scholarship opportunities it offers.
