It may seem strange to have the Vermont primary election before the Orleans County Fair, but that is this year’s reality. Absentee voting for candidates for statewide and local elections has been going on since the end of June, and the polls will be open on Tuesday, August 14.
While most local races are not contested, there are a few match-ups worthy of voters’ attention.
