A burning truck sends up a cloud of black smoke Friday afternoon. Kathy Mitchell-Eby was headed north on Interstate 91 in Sheffield when she encountered the blaze. She and many other motorists waited for a hour while firefighters from the Sheffield-Wheelock and Orleans departments quelled the flames and allowed drivers to go on their way.
