BARTON — iPhones take a pretty good picture and will get the job done for a lot of people, said Jake Mosher when he visited the Chronicle office Friday.
That may be so, for some, but Mr. Mosher’s vision isn’t focused on the surface of things. He can make an image that shows a Rocky Mountain vista against the vastness of our galaxy, or one that captures a dangerous instant in the life of a fly with apparent ease.
In fact, a photograph such as “Cold Night on the Yellowstone,” which has garnered international attention..
