A member of the Congregational Church of Needham since 1941, Mrs. Page served as both leader and worker, from deaconess, organist, choir member, to the house committee, where she was known to keep the church oven cleaner than her own.   The church was her inspiration and her community of treasured lifelong friends.  She also volunteered for the Red Cross and assisted her husband on many projects for the Needham Exchange Club.

During their 32 years of marriage, they resided in Mamaroneck and Scarsdale, New York.  They immensely enjoyed their summers at their summer home, Fourway Lodge, in Morgan.
Robert Newfang predeceased her in 1973.   In 1978, she married Smith Stowe of Cape Coral, Florida, who predeceased her in 1995.
Mrs. Stowe, known affectionately as Sunny to all, was an enthusiastic, committed Christian woman who was actively involved in the churches in her communities.
To her two daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she has been an exceptional example of strength, joy, humor, love, and grace.  Her family finds comfort in the knowledge that her faith was in the Lord and that she is in His presence today.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Wood Newfang, and the late Smith Anderson Stowe.  She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Gail and Duncan Kilmartin and Marcia Gillett and Glenn Koponen; her grandchildren:  Courtney Gillett Kilmartin and her husband, Tom Williams, Sara Tyler and her husband, Ben Wyllie, Michael Kari and Brian Robert Koponen; and three great-grandchildren:  Cullen Duncan, Mora Gillett, and Kelsey Sara Wyllie.
