IRASBURG — After deciding at its last meeting to further investigate the value and costs of metering the water supply provided to its users in Irasburg, the prudential committee gathered on October 18 for its monthly meeting to discuss its plans. The meeting focused largely on the idea of installing meters and led directly to a second, special meeting of Irasburg Fire District Number One’s governing board Monday.
The two members of the board decided to hire a bond counsel to help with the work of raising the money needed to buy and install the meters.
