Double overtime match ends in draw

It was like watching an unstoppable force meet an immovable object when the Lake Region Union High School boys met the Peoples Academy High School Wolves on August 21, in a soccer match that went into double overtime and ended in a tie.

From the outset, the Rangers presented a fast and hard defense.  Putting on the pressure, they probed the opposition for any exploitable weakness.  Wolves who came off of the pitch spoke of how fast the Rangers could move in to stifle any offensive play.  Peoples’ wasn’t without its own good defense though.  The Wolves quickly took the ball any time it ended up at the Rangers’ feet….
