COVENTRY — Crews continue cleanup work following a traffic accident that occurred in the early hours of December 27 and resulted in a spill of 8,000 gallons of leachate being transported from the Coventry landfill. According to the State Police, an empty tractor-trailer jackknifed on the icy surface of Route 5 just about 100 yards north of its intersection with the Coventry Station Road and Route 14.
