BROWNINGTON — Reality fell short of expectations for some members of the board and public at the regular Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School District (LRUEMSD) meeting Monday evening. Orleans Central Supervisory Union (OCSU) Superintendent Penny Chamberlin outlined the plan for dealing with staffing shortages that had been created over the last several months by current and former school administrators, and explained that in its current state it is the worst case scenario.
“The administrative team met and talked about what were our alternatives without impacting kids,” Ms. Chamberlin said.
