The Burke senior meal site is located at 212 School Street in West Burke. Meals are served Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please call 467-3423 before 9 a.m. for reservations or takeout orders. Coffee, tea, 2 percent milk and 100 percent juice are served at every meal, along with bread, muffins, or biscuits. Music by McKinney Brothers on alternating Wednesdays.
Wednesday, November 1 — Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, and chocolate zucchini bread. White Rose Music, line dancing, and 50/50.
Friday, November 3 — Pork stir-fry with mixed vegetables over rice with a roll, and ice cream with baked apples.
Monday, November 6 — Chicken divan, coleslaw, biscuits, and pineapple upside down cake. Bingo.
Wednesday, November 8 — American chop suey, garden salad, garlic bread, and Jell-O with fruit. Wii bowling.
Friday, November 10 — Chili, cornbread, garden salad, and pumpkin bread pudding.
Monday, November 13 — Macaroni and cheese with ham, mixed veggies, biscuits, and oatmeal raisin cookies. Bingo.
Wednesday, November 15 — Thanksgiving dinner! Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, rolls, and assorted pies. McKinney music, 50/50, line dancing.
Friday, November 17 — Baked fish, french fries, coleslaw, and lemon squares.
Monday, November 20 — Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, and banana cream poke cake. Bingo.
Wednesday, November 23 — Pork chops, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and cranberry bread pudding. Wii bowling.
Friday, November 24 — Closed.
Monday, November 27 — Spaghetti and meatballs, garden salad, garlic bread, and brownies. Bingo.
Wednesday, November 29 — Turkey, biscuits, mixed veggies, coleslaw, and apple berry crisp. McKinney music, and 50/50.
