Reporting stations across Orleans County say it was a healthy rifle season, though a little odd. Some hefty deer were killed, such as the 205-pound, eight-pointer that Butchie Stone brought in to Currier’s Quality Market in Glover. Stations said the deer had nice racks, but some said weight didn’t always coincide with racks.
