WEST GLOVER — I got COVID. My best guess is that I contracted the virus from another vaccinated person, inside, while we were both masked but sitting within six feet of each other. However, there may be another route. The weekend before I was diagnosed as positive, I was unmasked at an outside public event. My daughter, who attends preschool (in a mask, but unvaccinated) began showing symptoms right before me, so I may have contracted it from her. It’s hard to know.
When I got my diagnosis, I felt shocked and even embarrassed. I felt I was at fault, but I wasn’t sure for what.
