NEWPORT CENTER — At its July 11 meeting the select board received a visit from Orleans County Sheriff Jennifer Harlow who answered questions about her department’s law-enforcement polices As he does each month board member Rick Gosselin checked out the Sheriff Department’s monthly summary of activities in Newport Center, then asked those present if anyone would like to address the sheriff or ask her any questions.
Sheriff Harlow was asked how loud mufflers on bikes and large trucks are managed or ticketed. ..
