BARTON — The Barton Development Review Board (DRB) was met by a large group of concerned citizens on October 3, as they set to discuss a zoning violation appeal from Thomas Wood of Orleans. It was also met with abuse from one man whom police promptly removed from the meeting.
The property owned by Ronald and Brian Pollock of Middleton, Massachusetts, and leased by Mr. Wood — formerly the Orleans Commission Sales barn — was found in September to be in violation of Section 322 of the town’s zoning bylaw, which addresses livestock and pets.
