NEWPORT — Russ Ingalls is probably best known for his real estate business, RE/MAX All Seasons Realty, located in Newport and Lyndonville. He’s also known as a Vermont Senator representing much of Orleans, Essex and Caledonia counties.
He may soon be even better known as the owner of the seven-station network created by Bruce James. Mr. James sold Vermont Broadcast Associates to Senator Ingalls on February 1, although formal transfer of the broadcast licenses for its stations — WMOO, JJ Country and WIKE in Newport, Magic 97.7, Kix 105.5, and WSTJ in the St. Johnsbury area, and WMTK The Notch in Littleton, New Hampshire—won’t be completed for a while yet.
