NEWPORT — Time is the great test and one the Goodrich Memorial Library has certainly passed. On Saturday the city’s premier cultural institution celebrated its one-hundred-twenty-fifth birthday. A small crowd gathered to observe the anniversary of the library’s founding and many of those close to the library reminisced about their time in the old building.
Throughout the afternoon, regular library patrons stopped by for a small party….
