TROY — Leanne Harple, the Democratic candidate for the House from the district comprised of Albany, Craftsbury, her hometown, Glover, and Greensboro, was at the Randall Farm for a political pig roast on September 22. In between spells of light campaigning, and family duties, Ms. Harple took time to speak with the Chronicle.
She is not a complete stranger to the paper. Her mother, Peggy Day, was the first reporter hired by founders Chris and Ellen Braithwaite, and she has written for the paper as a stringer — an occasional correspondent — for several years.
Ms. Harple’s day job is teaching English at Hazen Union High School in Hardwick….
