NEWPORT — The community garden near the Gardner Park bandstand will soon be a thing of the past, Jennifer Bernier told members of the city council at their meeting Monday night.
Ms. Bernier said board members of Fresh Start Community Farm, with whom she works, decided to take the step after hearing of a meeting she had with members of city government.
