MONTPELIER — Around 150 Northeast Kingdom Residents traveled south to the State House here Tuesday to highlight the wonders of their home and to bring legislators up to date on issues affecting Orleans, Essex, and Caledonia counties. The second annual Northeast Kingdom Day was sponsored by the Kingdom Collaborative, an organization that in recent years has worked to coordinate economic development efforts in the area.
Katherine Sims, the director of the collaborative, welcomed those attending, a group ranging in age from elementary school students to seniors.
