LRUEMSD — School closing decisions at least three years off

GLOVER — The issue of the Irasburg Village School’s extensive capital needs was raised by Dan Demaine, member from Glover, at Monday’s Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School District (LRUEMSD) meeting.  He brought up the question after Facilities Director Matthew Kittredge mentioned the assessment prepared by the New England School Development Council (NESDEC) and how it will guide decisions about future capital projects at the schools.

“I feel like it comes down to a complete renovation of the Irasburg school, or we go ahead and do something different,” Mr. Demaine said…
