BARTON — Barton Village Trustees spent a thoughtful Monday night examining the village’s finances and making decisions they hope will keep the village in calm financial waters.
Crystal Currier, who works for the Vermont Public Power Supply Authority (VPPSA), is in a consulting role for the village and prepares its financial statements. She presented the financial report for the period ending August 31. The trustees expressed their gratitude to Ms. Currier for including a memo with key highlights from the report to help guide their review.
