Hemp farming demands hard work and ingenuity

CRAFTSBURY COMMON — Hemp farmers can make a decent living from the soil, but it will require hard work and ingenuity, Doug Fine told the 20 people who signed up for the “Hemp Hack” at Sterling College Thursday and Friday.

Mr. Fine is an experienced grower of hemp and cannabis.  The two names technically are synonymous, but are often used to differentiate between varieties of the plant that contain THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), a cannabinoid that can get users high, and those that do not.
