Enthusiastic but sparse crowd at Seymour fishing tourney

MORGAN — Robert Joyal and a companion were hunkered down in a cozy little shack on the beach of Lake Seymour, eating pizza from the Morgan store. They had been waiting all morning for people to register for the seventeenth annual Seymour Lake Ice Fishing Tournament, hosted by the Derby Line Firemen’s Association. Though a few shacks dotted the frozen lake, there wasn’t as many as Mr. Joyal had hoped.
