NEWPORT — A Derby Line man told police he went off Route 5 near the Fish and Game Road after being shot at by the passenger in a truck he tried to pass. According to Vermont State Police Trooper Logan Miller, the man’s vehicle showed no sign of having been hit by a bullet, although the driver, 23-year-old Joshua Kuhaneck, said he was sure it had been. …
