Barton Select Board talks roads

BARTON — At their meeting Thursday morning, select board members dealt with a mishap on Hollow Road.  A road crew member was working on a ditch and clipped a waterline belonging to Pat Russell.

The damage was not great.  Road Forman Rick Knaggs said it cost about $75 to repair the line.  Nevertheless, Ms. Russell, who attended the meeting, said she is troubled by the lack of gravel on her road and a trend to constantly deepen its ditches.
