Yvelande Brasseur Chicoine Anderson

Yvelande Brasseur Chicoine Anderson, 84, died on November 22, 2010, in Sun City, Arizona, surrounded by her children.
She was born on June 5, 1926, in Newport Center, a daughter of Oswald and Antonie Brasseur of Irasburg.
She married Leo Chicoine.  They moved to Connecticut, and later moved to warm Arizona to retire, where Leo predeceased her.
She later married Warren Anderson, who survives her.  She is also survived by her two children:  a son Robert Chicoine and his wife, Karen; by a daughter Linda Chicoine; grandchild Rhonda; a sister Lucille Martineau from St. Petersburg, Florida; three brothers:  Yves Brasseur and his wife, Yolande, from Irasburg, Martial Brasseur and his wife, Priscille, from Bristol, Connecticut, and Richard Brasseur and his wife, Lorraine, from Irasburg; and by numerous nephews and nieces from all over the country.
A private Catholic memorial Mass was celebrated at Richard and Lorraine Brasseur’s home, coinciding with the funeral Mass being celebrated in Arizona.

 

Donald Wayne Brown

Donald Wayne Brown, 55, of Derby Line died on December 4, 2010, in Newport.  He was born May 3, 1955, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, a son of Sydney and Hazel (Clark) Brown.
Mr. Brown attended North Country Union High School in Newport.
He was employed at Newport Plastics for 12 years and Butterfields in Derby Line for five years.  He also was employed by the Burlington Free Press, Green Mountain Electric, and Magazine Merchandising with the Hudson RPM Distributors, LLC, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire.
On November 5, 1980, he married Rosalie Jacobs.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Brown, of Derby Line; by his stepchildren:  Kathy Flanders and her husband, David, of Derby, and Douglas Gray and his friend, Kathleen Pelletier, of Rutland; by his sisters Cheryl Labounty and her husband, Reginald, of Canaan, and Patricia Barry and her husband, Wendell, of Newport; by his nieces and nephews:  Betsey Pion, Mary Skidgel, Jody Barry, Jeffrey Broe, and John Barry; by several great-nieces and nephews; and by stepnieces and stepnephews Brandy Barry, Sara Pelletier, Derick Flanders, and Shawn Pelletier.  He was predeceased by his parents, Hazel and Sydney Brown, and by a brother, Ronnie.
Funeral services were held on December 9 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home in Newport with the Reverend Richard Daniels and the Reverend Paul Essaff officiating.   Spring interment will be in the Derby Center cemetery.

Nancy Jo (Young) Chapdelaine

Nancy-Jo (Young) Chapdelaine, 52, of Browninigton, died on December 9, 2010.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Chapdelaine.
She was born in Holden, Massachusetts, in 1958.  She grew up in Brookfield, Massachusetts, and graduated from Tantasqua in 1976.  She moved to Vermont in 1981 where she spent the rest of her life.
She leaves behind a daughter, Amy-Jo Morse and her husband, Paul, of Newport Center; two sons:  Joshua Larocque and his fiancée, Jenn Davis, and Gary Larocque, all of Brownington; four grandchildren:  Parker and Emma-Jo Morse of Newport Center and Mackenzy-Jo and Dominic Larocque of Brownington; three stepchildren: Aaron and his wife, Emmi Chapdelaine, of Brownington, Spring Chapdelaine and Chris Nesbit of Enosburg, Eve Chapdelaine and Billy of Charlotte; five stepgrandchildren:  Ariel, Xavier, and Xander Chapdelaine of Brownington, Keiser Chapdelaine of Enosburg, and Freya Chapdelaine of Charlotte; three very special godchildren, Dawson, Laney, and Dillon Stebbins of Irasburg; two brothers:  Craig Young of Lake Havasu, Arizona, amd Michael Seery of Brookfield; a sister, Elaine Eldred of Albany;  and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Gary in 1973; by her mother, Ethel Jo Seery, in 1996; her father, Edward Young, in 2004; and a stepfather, James C. Seery, in 2002.
The family will hold a remembrance gathering at a future date.

Russell Robert Ross Jr.

Russell Robert Ross Jr., 55, of Norton, and formerly of Salem, Massachusetts, and Raymond, New Hampshire, died on December 7, 2010, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, after a short illness.
He was born in Salem on February 10, 1955, a son of Russell Robert Ross Sr. and the late Nathalie (Abraham) Ross.
He was a scholar and veteran of the Submarine Service All Fleet.  He leaves his dearly loved wife, Dianna, and their children:  13-year-old triplets Joseph (Joey), Isaiah, and Bonnie, 21-year-old son Matthew, and 20-year-old daughter Rachael whom he loved with all his heart; two brothers, Mark of Essex, Massachusetts and Michael (Mickey) of Salem; a sister, Susan, of Wenham, Massachusetts, who he loved and was devoted to; and Bobby, Tommy, and Dick Romboli, and Mark Walkup whom he was particularly close to.
Mr. Ross also had a church family at Grace Brethren Church to which he was devoted.  He spent many years studying the Bible and had a deep faith in God and Christ.
Funeral services were held December 11 at the Grace Brethren Church in Island Pond with the Reverend Jake Kocis officiating.
