Well, well, well:  Irasburg may add to water system

IRASBURG — Peter Limon, chairman of the prudential committee of Irasburg Fire District #1, approached the Irasburg Select Board with a written request to build a new town well, along with other upgrades. He proposed paying for the improvements with money provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).  The select board was critical, but ultimately supportive of the project’s intentions.

Mr. Limon, seated beside Robert Clark of Otter Creek Engineering, presented the plan to the board at its October 13 meeting.  The primary talking point was the drilling of a third well.
