WEST GLOVER — Local athlete Tara Nelson was nominated to attend the 2023 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) leadership forum in her role as assistant athletic director at Northern Vermont University, Lyndon campus.
The four-day event was held in Baltimore, Maryland, in April. She and the student athlete who went with her, Gregory Gonyea, managed to make it to a Baltimore Orioles game while they were there.
