Summit shares ideas on keeping dairy alive

JAY PEAK — Around 240 people — farmers, legislators, regulators, bankers, and others interested in finding ways to help keep the dairy business alive — gathered Monday afternoon to begin a day-and-a-half of presentations and discussions at Jay Peak.  Around 150 were dairy farmers, said Anson Tebbetts, Vermont’s Secretary of Agriculture, Food, and Markets.
