North Country artists reach across the world

NEWPORT — Before the business portion of the North Country Supervisory Union’s annual meeting started on March 23, North Country Union High School art teacher Natalie Gaines presented the Memory Project, which evoked an emotional reaction from the board and staff.  Local student artists created portraits of orphaned children in Nigeria, which were then sent to those children as a way to connect them to the world and build relationships.
