Lyndon home consumed by storm water

• Bookmarks: 400

A house belonging to David and Patricia Webster on Brook Road in Lyndon, fell into the Mountain Brook after eight inches of rain fell in the early morning hours, Tuesday, July 30. A flash flood eroded over 40 feet of bank, catastrophically undermining their home and damaging roads and other homes in the area. The pair escaped the home uninjured after it began to creak and groan, according to a neighbor.
