ALBANY — At its regular meeting Monday night, the Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School District (LRUEMSD) Board continued a conversation begun earlier about creating a dedicated middle school or schools in the district.
Debbie Brunelle, a member from Brownington, recommended bringing the public into the discussion sooner rather than later. Freddi Very, also a member from Barton, asked for clarification around what grades make up middle school. Although fifth grade is sometimes included, it is usually sixth through eighth grade….
