Leanne Harple of Glover handily won the Democratic nomination for a seat in the Vermont House representing the Orleans-4 district. In one of the only two contested contests in Tuesday’s primary voting Ms. Harple outpolled David Kelley of Greensboro by a margin of 404 to 286.
In the General Election, Ms. Harple will face Anthony “Tony” Daniels of Albany. Running unopposed in Republican primary balloting Mr. Daniels garnered 222 votes to clinch his party’s nomination.
