Judge says former UPS store must follow rules or close

NEWPORT — Judge Mary Miles Teachout has ordered Andre “Mike” Desautels not to open his business unless he follows Governor Phil Scott’s masking guidance as set forth by the state Agency of Commerce and Community Development.  She said she will hold a separate hearing to determine the penalty the business owner will face for his refusal to wear a mask at his Newport office services business.
