JAY — Approximately 40 town of Jay residents came together at the Jay-Westfield Elementary School on March 3, for the annual Town Meeting, annual Jay-Westfield Elementary School Meeting and potluck luncheon. After a brief social time over doughnuts and coffee, the meeting was called to order at 10:10 a.m. by Janet Butler, who was once again elected moderator for this year’s meeting. Le-Ann Tetrault was once again elected unanimously to serve a three-year term on the select board and Dorran Dougherty was elected for a one-year term as constable. Taking a brief respite from town business, Ms. Butler introduced Steve Wright, president and general manager of Jay Peak Resort who gave the townspeople an overview of what has been happening at the resort and plans for the upcoming year.
