BARTON — A local real estate agency has found a new home here and celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting and community gathering on July 23. Jeff Como, founder and owner and of Rise Realty, looks forward to breathing new life into the building with his team while they help folks find their first home, or forever home, in the area.
Founded in 2020 during the pandemic, Mr. Como started Rise Realty not with the idea of being the biggest brokerage, but with the intention of providing a local service to people in the community. “Over time, I treated people as people through business, instead of what you would find at a lot of bigger agencies where it’s all about numbers,” Mr. Como said. “The goal was to take care of people and treat people as humans, and then it just continued to grow.”
Sandwiched between The Nook and Kinney Drugs at 493 Main Street, Mr. Como said getting the building up to snuff was not without struggles. He recalled the first time he walked into the building, seeing the floor covered with ….
