Governor kicks off Christmas season with tree harvest

BARTON—Governor Phil Scott and state Secretary of Agriculture, Food, and Markets Anson Tebbetts got out of Montpelier for a morning and took a trip to the Kingdom in search of Christmas trees.

In fact it was only the Governor who needed trees, two for his office and another two for his home.  His mission took him to Maple Hill Tree Farm which sits along side Maple Hill Road above the village of Barton.
