WESTMORE — On Monday the select board heard about events coming to Westmore in the next few months, and discussed issues related to town workers.
A biking event scheduled for March was the first on the list. Town Clerk Elaine Cashin said she spoke to its organizer, Chris Gagnon, and got answers to the most basic questions the select board might have. The event has the insurance that the board asked for, but a map of the course is not yet available. Select board chair David Stevens said that he’d like the organizer to come to the next meeting so that the board may ask questions directly.
Dr. Elizabeth Tucker, a Westmore resident, asked if the members were aware of another upcoming race happening on February 24…
