The North Country Union High School Falcons boys played the Lake Region High School Rangers September 18 and came away with a 3 – 1 victory. The game started out physical with the Rangers taking a shot on goal 30 seconds in as they quickly drove up the field.
The Falcons stole the ball and created their own chances, with Jonathan Giroux and Alex Giroux taking shots on net. Lake Region’s Oscar Forsay marked Alex Giroux, a top Falcon scorer, tightly
“He’s trying to cuddle with me,” Alex Giroux said, as he tried to get some space from the persistent defender.
