NEWPORT — A Brownington couple is facing charges that allege they burned a house in an attempt to collect the insurance on the building. Roger G. Guay, 58, and his wife, Teresa M. Guay, 56, appeared Tuesday in the Criminal Division of Orleans County Superior Court where each pled innocent to first-degree conspiracy to commit arson and insurance fraud.
