DERBY — The Vermont Agency of Transportation will cut the link connecting Derby Line and Holland from April to October, said Grant Spates, chair of the Derby Select Board ahead of Monday’s board meeting.
The Caswell Avenue Bridge spanning Interstate 91 will be demolished and replaced, he said.
VTrans has long planned to rebuild the bridge, but earlier plans called for keeping one lane open and installing lights to direct the flow of traffic, said select board member W. Perry Hunt.
