Missisquoi River group to hold annual forum

The Missisquoi River Basin Association’s (MRBA) annual forum will be held at the Westfield Community Center on Sunday, March 18, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The public is invited to join as the group discusses 2017 water quality monitoring results, and holds its first soil health seminar.

Following the water quality presentation, the MRBA will hold the first soil health seminar in its spring seminar series. This seminar is geared toward anyone who owns more than four acres of land or is interested in backyard farming. It will cover topics such as sustainable soil health practices and delve into what small-scale farmers need to know about Vermont’s required agricultural practices. Experts will be available afterwards to answer questions.
