NORTH TROY — The Troy Elementary School gym was packed with proud parents, grandparents, friends, and family anxious to get their shot at seeing the classic L. Frank Baum tale The Wizard of Oz brought to life by students.
Third grade teacher Shannon Smith directed the play, and welcomed the crowd. She told the audience how hard the kids worked to put the show together, through snow days and illnesses, and she thanked all who contributed to making the play. “A whole community helped put the play together,” she said…
