NEWPORT — The third member of a group police say broke into the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) office here on September 16, appeared by video link in the Criminal Division of Orleans County Superior Court on November 21 and denied the charges levied against him.
Alex Becker, 34, listed on the information sheet as homeless, pled innocent to felony charges of burglary, false pretenses, conspiracy to receive stolen property worth more than $900, grand larceny, and unlawful trespass in a building, a misdemeanor.
