MORGAN — There wasn’t much beach above water on the north side of Seymour Lake Saturday. That didn’t stop a large crew of Morgan residents from donning barn boots and gloves and wading in to clean out the driftwood and other detritus washed up by the freak downpour that scoured part of the town early on July 30.
Morgan resident Kathy Remick said, “The community support has been amazing, it brought me to tears.”
Ms. Remick said the number of people working to clean up varied over the morning, but there had been as many as 75 working at one point….
