NEWPORT — Ripples from the citywide reappraisal of Newport property continue to spread nearly a year after the initial evaluation process was completed.
Those who disagree with the value placed on their property by Vision Government Services, the company hired by the city to carry out the work, and the results of appeals to City Appraiser Spencer Potter and the Newport Board of Civil Authority, are just starting the final stage of the state’s grievance process.
